The best way to ensure that you are seated at the same table is to send in your reservations together. If you need two or more tables, make a note on your reservation that you would like tables side by side. If you are unable to send in your reservations together, make note on your reservation that you would like to be placed at the same table as your friends. Every attempt will be made to seat friends together.
The main floor is reserved for large groups that reserve an entire table on a first come, first served basis. So, to sit on the main floor, you should organize your friends to reserve an entire table and send in your reservation as soon as possible. The main floor usually sells out in the first two weeks.
It is always best to send in your reservations together. If you can't do this, when you send in your reservation, make sure you make a note on the form that you want to sit with someone who has already made a reservation. If seats are still available, every attempt will be to seat you at their table. Send in your reservation as soon as possible.
The attire is formal. Many guests wear tuxedos or ball gowns, but this is optional. Women in nice dresses and men in suits is also acceptable. Guests also dress in the theme of the Ball, which is acceptable too.

This is a difficult situation. Efforts are always made to sit friends together. It is always more fun to sit with friends. Empty seats are sold to guests on a first come, first serve basis. If these seats have not yet been filled, your friends will be seated with you.
